Ginger and Rosa
Directed by British auteur Sally Potter (‘Orlando’/’Rage’), Ginger & Rosa is a set in the early 1960s. Two teenage girls – Ginger and Rosa – are inseparable. They play truant together, discuss love, religion and politics and dream of lives bigger than their mothers’ frustrated domesticity. But, as Ginger’s parents fight and fall apart, and the threat of nuclear holocaust escalates, the lifelong friendship of the two girls is shattered.
